Shots are not our friends

Well, being a big girl means getting big girl shots. We had Karli's well check visit today. She weighs 38 pounds and is 38.5 inches tall. She is in the 50% for her height and 50-75% for her weight. The worst part....3 shots. When I told her she was getting shots, she said "What are shots?" I told her they were going to put medicine in her leg to keep her healthy. When she got the first shot, we had screaming. She was easily calmed down with the promise of Amy's Ice Cream. She also got to chew gum for the first time. It was a VERY eventful day and she went to bed at 7:30 pm! NICE!
