First Grade Field Trip

It is so nice to have the flexibility to be the mom that Karli wants, but still have a career. This flexibility allows me to go on field trips. Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch at the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm. It was a great little outing, but would have been much more enjoyable minus the ridiculous wind. We didn't take "Pumpkin Patch" pics since she was wearing her school shirt, but it was fun to see the class interaction. There were farm animals, a maze, pumpkin painting, and a hayride.
