Party Weekend

This was the busiest weekend of the season! Thursday night I had my girlfriends over for a happy hour. In the past we have done this at a restaurant, but decided this year to save money and have it here. About 20 ladies joined me in toasting the holiday season. Karli was here with a babysitter and loved sneaking down to "say hi".

Fridays are always a little crazy, but this Friday was especially busy. Karli had her Christmas Chapel at school and then their holiday party. I was in charge of the craft (big surprise!) and we made domino magnets. Then we rushed off to dance. That night we had a holiday party, but I couldn't stand getting Kar another sitter (we already have one for Saturday and Sunday) so we got permission to bring her along. She was so excited to be at a grown up party. She was very good. She had her purse and everyone kept giving her candy. Her purse was full by the end of the night.

Saturday was crazy. I had a Champagne Brunch for the ACA Committee celebrating all our hard work for the year. From the Brunch I came home to get Kar in her tights and leotard and ready for her recital. She performed "I won't grow up" from Peter Pan and they were ADORABLE. I plan to have it up on You tube shortly. We came home for a short nap and got ready for our next holiday party. We had a good time at Katrina's and it is always good to see friends. The weekend is almost over, but the festivities have not ended!
